Megapot is now live on Tempo Mainnet

Starting today, players can buy Megapot tickets using Tempo, a highly anticipated blockchain built from the ground up designed for stablecoin payments.

Tempo recently raised $500m at a $5 billion valuation, incubated by Stripe and Paradigm.

Why Tempo

Most blockchains were built for trading or infrastructure. Tempo is built for something more fundamental: making onchain payments actually work for real people. Fast confirmations. Near-zero fees. Native stablecoin support.

Megapot has players from 124 countries. Infrastructure like Tempo is how we serve all of them without friction getting in the way.

How to get started

Tempo support on Megapot is only available for crypto wallets like Metamask and OKX at this time.

Step 1: Add Tempo to your wallet

For Tempo Wallet and Metamask, view Tempo's docs and click the respective buttons to add the network.

You can also visit chainlist.org/chain/4217 and click "Add to MetaMask."

Step 2: Get USDC on Tempo

1. Bridge or onramp stablecoins to Tempo using Relay: relay.link/bridge/tempo
2. Set the output token to USDC on Tempo. You can even click "Select wallet" to choose which wallet receives the USDC.

Step 3: Start transacting on Tempo

1. Go to megapot.io. You'll need to select "Continue with a wallet", as email signup is not supported at this time.
2. Tickets cost $1. When selecting your payment token, choose USDCe on Tempo from the token list.

We're excited to be among the first consumer applications live on Tempo Mainnet, and to grow alongside a team that's serious about real-world stablecoin adoption.

What this means for existing players

Nothing changes. Megapot runs on one shared pool, the same jackpot, the same daily draws.

Tempo is simply a new way to participate. If you're already playing, keep playing. Megapot is a great way to try out Tempo with a consumer application.

How to add a custom network to your wallet

1. Go to your wallet settings and click networks
2. Add network
   • Metamask Mobile: Follow the in-app prompts
   • Metamask Desktop: Select Ethereum > Custom > Scroll to the bottom Add custom network
